Update

We have been continuing to visit villages to hand out boxes to the children and play games. Yesterday we went to a village and the vet that was with us gave the horses and cows deworming and vitamin medicines. There was one horse that had an absess and she cleaned it. I got it on video; it was pretty gross but its exciting that she could do this. Usually the men dont show up to these gatherings because nothing is in it for them. By taking care of their animals, hence their livlihood, we are minitering to them as well, and not just the women and children. It has been awesome. We ended up staying late last night, the mountains on the way up were absolutely wonderful, and the stars at night were breathtaking. I am still in good helth, and doubt that I will lose any weight while I am here. Linda is a good cook. I have been talking a lot with her and Angel, and am enjoying their company. Today Joanna got Angel´s uncle to come and look at the sewing machine that she has for her project. He got it running where we couldnt figure it out. Apparently he has had cancer for years and could not do much, so he took up sewing to make a living. The project for the kids looks like its picking up and should be completely running by the end of the week. The kids are sweet. Escarlett has a baby who is precious. Tonight we are going to the biggest village of them all to hand out more boxes. There are some people there with some mental health issues, pray that everything goes smoothly and that we will not have any problems. Until next time, Adios y Dios le bendiga!
